Alan Kingsley

The Kingsley Firm is Alan Kingsley, a California Certified Public Accountant.

He earned a Masters in Professional Accounting with a specialization in Taxation from one of the preeminent tax and accounting programs in the country, The University of Texas at Austin. [Hook ’em Horns!]

Prior to the working the MPA program, Alan earned his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with Distinction in Accounting from San Diego State University.

Counseled U.S. executives in strategies for entering the Japanese market as well as for negotiating with their Japanese counterparts, service providers, and government representatives. Tax Executives Institute Elects Officers for 2002-2003 Fiscal Year

SAN FRANCISCO – The following individuals have been elected officers of the San Francisco Chapter of Tax Executives Institute, Inc. for the 2002-2003 fiscal year.

Alan F. Kingsley, Executive Director of Taxes for PG&E Corporation to President; C.N. “Sandy” Macfarlane, Assistant General Tax Counsel for Chevron Texaco Corporation to Senior Vice President; G. Stephen Arnold, Chief Tax Executive for PG&E Corporation to Vice President; Peggy O’Dowd, Tax Manager for GE Capital IT Solutions to Secretary; David L. Green, Director-Tax Compliance and Accounting for The Clorox Company to Treasurer and Kevin W. Ridley, Director, International Tax for McKesson Corporation to Assistant Secretary/Treasurer.

Kingsley previously served the chapter as Secretary, Vice President and Senior Vice President. He received his B.S.B.A. degree with distinction in accounting from San Diego State University and his M.P.A degree in taxation from the University of Texas at Austin. He is licensed to practice as a Certified Public Accountant in California. During his career, Mr. Kingsley has served a wide range of corporate clients both in the U.S. and Japan. He is currently employed by PG&E Corporation in San Francisco.

Tax Executives Institute, Inc. represents over 5,000 members who are employed in executive, administrative or managerial tax positions in approximately 3,000 U.S., Canadian and European companies. The Institute is divided into 8 regions and 53 chapters located throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. The San Francisco Chapter was organized in 1947 and currently has 120 members.

Tax Executives Institute, Inc. provides a forum for the discussion of current tax issues by corporate tax officials. Its members meet regularly with representatives of state taxing authorities, the Internal Revenue Service, Department of the Treasury, U.S. Congress and their counterparts in Canada to discuss a wide range of tax issues affecting their companies.
